i just got one of these and tried to put it in but once you put the lid that holds the filter on the airbox lid wont seal becuase the twin air sits higher than my K&N did. are you supposed to leave the first metallid off and use the airbox lid to hold the twin air filter in?

 

yes thats all you have to do a very good filter
