I checked the Linkagge rod then I took it off and tried turning with vise grips still only have Reverse and Neuteral. Bought a Haynes Manual I can't figure out is the tranny fluid checkright next too the brake fluid on the right side I unscrewed the nut there is no dipp skick I thought there was a magnetic dip stick well I look in the hole and it is empty then I went to pull the plug to drain it. I had a feeling it was that, but in the manual it says to drain the tranny oil,
i for the life of me can not get that bolt lose is there some sort of trick to it,
also is thier any easier way to acess the silent chain with out pulling the tranny,
one other thing I am not sure but the dip stick to check tranny fluid the only thing i can find is a bolt on the right side under the vent and behind the brake fluide I don't see a yellow dip stick I thought I too have a magnetic stick to collect the metal shavings am I missing somthing sorry I am a newbie but this forum is excellent thank you
