Is it okay to lean you quad on back wheels/rack?
I wanted to inspect the underside of my 06 500efi and have noticed magazine pictures of quads lined up on their back wheels resting on their racks. Does this cause a problem with oil draining into the airbox? I don't have a fuel shut off with my EFI, is it okay to do it with the 500efi? Thanks...

Whether it is good or bad for the bike I think that it is an unsafe practice for Joe Average to do. Your best bet is to put the bike on a proper ramp & lift it and then you can inspect it quite safely. Go to the closest place that has a lift, either your dealer or a local garage & get them to lift it up for you. It may cost a couple of bucks but it is worth it.

redmnt; i live in north west co. we get quit a few hunters through from now till dec. it seems like every year i'll see a trailer or 2 come in loaded to the nuts and have 1 or 2 quads standing on end. it must not hurt any thing or i dont think they would haul them like that. my son and his buds work on there sport quads like this quite a bit; raptor,banshee-ect.-- if you want to try this it would be easy to pull seat then air box cover and air filter and watch for any oil or other fluids leaking and you could check your t-bap sensor and throttle positon sensor wire plug ins and make sure there tight if you havent checked them yet.
