Access Pannel Rattle!

Default Access Pannel Rattle!

Ok I have a rattle in my front access pannel bellow the gas tank. Has anyone come up with a good solid fix for this? I have stuffed foam in channels works for very short amount of time. Getting old fast listening to the rattle. Any ideas wld be great. Thanx...

Default Access Pannel Rattle!

I have a 2006 450 SP and the same thing is happening to mine, my side pannels are vibrating as well. Any help would be great.

Default Access Pannel Rattle!

I have used rtv silicone that dry's rubbery, not hard. You can bye this at wal-mart in clear or black, it's in the auto department. So fare it worked for all may rattles. Sean

I'm going to try it as well, my 500 has this problem on the left side panel.

Default Access Pannel Rattle!

The more you use the better just wipe the access off and allow drying before operating the quad. Best thing is you can still easily take off panels because it dry's rubbery.

Not a bad idea! So you just kinda glued it together. Will think that over. I am going to look at it a bit more and see if I can see why it is not fitting tight, and try to work out a way to stop this from happening. Ty for info, if I cant work it out I will be getting me a tube of rtv lol....

Good idea. My 330 TB front panel has an anoying buzz a certain RPM's........ I'm not crazy about the fit of polaris panels although I really like the overall package.

my dump box/2nd seat rattles like hell, course its been there and back a few times too.

Default Access Pannel Rattle!

Ya I looked at my fit of the panel, it sucks like it is to short on the bottom side. Love my popo but come on guys work on the fit and finish a bit. Going to look for like a thin rubber gasket of some sort to try and stop the buzz. Any more input is still welcome.
