It just means that the machine is telling you that its ready for service. Usually its set at 50 hours but mine was set at 25. I believe it will flash every 50 thereafter but you can also change the hour setting yourself. the info on how to change it should be in your owners manual.

 

it will contuine to flash until you reset it. its a service reminder. the first service might be set at 25 hrs and the book suggest setting at 50 hrs there after for service. if you have your manual it tells you in there how to reset it.

 

I turned mine off completely. That was easier than having to look in the book each time to see how to reset it. I check the miles and hours often enough and don't need an "idiot light" to remind me.
