Default 08 Srambler jetting

Hey guys,
I've got an 08 scambler with some minor mods.
K&N filter with vented airbox lid, hot seat muffler, and dynojet kit.
Right now i've got the stock pilot jet, and the 152 dynojet main. The needel is on the second to lowest groove. airfuel screw is about 3-1/2 turns out.
It runs better but i wonder if theres more in there. I've noticed a couple guys running a 170 main, without listing any mods at all.
What do you guys think?? i removed the airbox lid completly, and the bike got alot louder, but seemed to lose a bit of lowend.
Buy the way, I'vegot a clutch kit coming from hot seat, hopefully it'll be on by the weekend.
Any advice would be great!!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

You will be lucky to get it to run right with a modded air box unless you do the HPD mod kit. These CV carbs need engine vacum to work propperly. And to do so you need to mod the slide and the diaphram spring.Which is in the HPD kit.

thats an interesting thought with the no-mod air box. I did change the diaphram sping with the dynojet kit, but nothing in the directions mentioned opening the holes up in the bottom of the slide, as I've seen in other kits. I'll try alittle duct tape over the holes in the lid(except intake snorkel of corse) temporaly just to see what it does. this is my first quad with a vac. carb., didn't occure to me about a lack of vaccume. thanks, I'll keep u posted

just to keep you updated,
I covered the airbox vents back up and it seemed to run the same or maybe slighty better than leaving the holes open. i might have to contiue to adjust the air-fuel mix because it didn't want to idel until it warmed up for 30sec.
