Polaris 250 HELP!!!!
Ok I am new to this forum, but heres the deal. I just got a 250 trailblazer 2001 last night for free. The guy couldn't get it running and after 2200 in parts his wife said no more. Its only running about 60psi. " I think that it may have just been the piston and rings" He could get it to run after like 45 minutes of covering the Carb with his hand then it would run like a scalded dog until it was shut off. "Since the last time he ran it has not came back to life" Would the rings be losing so much compression that it wont start back? I know that the spec Compression is "126 tdc" I was looking at it and wondering if it may have been the reticifier <sp> not shooting voltage correctly does anyone know what the output Voltage is suppost to be? Please help would love to take my girl riding on this one this weekend.
I have much knowledge about kawasaki bayou's, just completely rebuild one ground up bored over .50 runs and jumps great for an old dog haha.
Feel free to e-mail me with any help thank you.
