I found an NAPA Belt online that fits my part number polaris belt. I did the part # interchange. It came up with this belt. Do you think these belts are worth trying or has anyone put them on there machine? this is for an sp500 2004.5 model. Fairly good price.

If I was in a bind and had to have a belt, then any aftermarket would work for the time being. But if I had to order one just because it was time, I'd get the factory belt.

 

Thanks for the input, I suppose the rubber compond on these Gates(NAPA) belts are not as good as a OEM Belt.

 

Right NAPA belts are Gates belts. Anyone know who makes OEM Polaris belts? I see alot of "only use Polaris" this and that, but guess what I bet Polaris doesn't make belts or oil or half the other stuff(filters ect) someone makes this stuff for them to their spec. I'm all about using quality stuff,as much as these things cost no need to cheap out but sometime it boils down to availability. I say if you know what you are looking at go look at it and compare it's quality to a Polaris belt.
