Default sportsman xp clutch

I am looking into getting a clutch kit for my 2010 xp 850. I will be ordering 31'' outlaws in the next week. I know in stock form the 850 can turn 32 silverbacks just fine. What I am looking for is a smoother engagement. Ever since my wife and I got our xp's they have a much harsher engagement compared to the original sportsmans. I mainly ride mud or 4x4 trials, top end isn't real important. I don't mud race so I don't want a huge stall either. I am mainly looking for a smoother engagement so when you are riding technical parts of the trail you can easily go 1-3 mph without it being so jerky. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for the help. Any info would be great I have never installed or purchased a clutch kit.

From what I have read most kits its give it a higher stall so at take off it has more grabbing power to help keep the belt from slipping. I am hoping to see if there is a way to lower the engagement rpm so it is smoother at take off.
