What is wrong with this picture?
So I got this 06 800 sportsman dirt cheap. I had a couple of minor repairs to make but I am thinking I am finding out why i got it for $800 more and more.
I just picked up this plow set for cheap also, but I think I may have a project on my hands.
Moose RM3 mount plate
Moose Push tube, (apparently)
Polaris blade.
The mount plate connects to the push tubes perfectly
But the mount plate... Not so much
It seems that the underside holes don't match up to anything to bolt to.
So I looked closer and it looks like the machine was modified on the underside. Like maybe they screwed up the frame and just welded some plates in. ????
Here are a couple of pics. Can you guys confirm this?
Thanks!

I took it to a local dealer who sells Polaris parts as I originally thought the entire system was a glacier II. They brought out a Glacier mounting plate and the attachment bar at the front was about 4inches wider. So they looked up my plate via pics online and said it was a Moose RM3. The only difference between that and the Glacier was the width of the monting bar. Otherwise it matched the glacier for length and shape. They didn't take the plate out of the plastic to compare holes.

hard to tell in the pics- almost looks like there's another plow plate bolted up on the frame or something .
something does not look right tho-
but $800 for an 06 800sp- I wouldn't lose sleep over. you could tripple that just parting the machine out.
I had an 06 800- I'll see if I have any frame shots saved anywhere...
