Default Ignition Coil Testing 2004.5 Sportsman 700- Help

I have been working with OPT on a no spark issue and wanted to throw this out too. I hate being a pest to him- asking so many questions.
OPT is very knowledgeable on these ATV's and appreciate everything..
I hope someday to help others with these posts...

Can someone tell me if I am testing this coil correctly, want to rule it out as good before I buy a CDI.
I have the manual but am a little lost.
First pic Black and white wire with OHM meter set on 200 - reads 00.7, also when I put on continuity it beeps as if close circuit between the black and white. Is this correct?

Next pic is the spark plug wires meter set on 20K - reads 14.15
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance for the help.

It should beep when you have the meter on continuity. Look at the left section on your trouble shooting guide as to testing the coil secondary. The black lead goes to one plug cap,the red lead goes to the white wire on the coil. Same for the other plug wire. See what values you get and what the resistance should be in the small box in the schematic diagram. Resistance values are + or - 20%. I don't have a 700 carb manual so I'm running blind on this.

More results. and pictures of the late 2004 600/700 wiring diagram for those who need it.
The little box on diagram said I should have 0.19 ohms on the white and black wires, my meter set on 200 it reads .5 (not sure if I had is on the correct setting)
Secondary wire to wire should be 15K total - see pic, my meter set on 20K it read 14.26.
However I did what OPT said and put the lead to white wire and the other to plug wires - bot were open circuits no readings on meter.

I posted some CDI testing and Stator testing results and pic on my other thread.
Thanks

Default Coil was good.........

I went and bought a New coil- just to be sure.
I tested it and the same results on the black and white wires, and the High tension wires was very close to same ohms.

I will save the new one for a spare.

However did find out that the CDI was bad.
She runs.....

Thanks Again.....
