I can see why some might find this type of riding fun.
But here in Mass, we are seeing more and more trails closed each year because of the damage being done.
I guarantee you that the damage to private property, the wildlife, and ecosystem will not be overlooked and the fingerpointing will be at us.

Petersty07, where are you located. I know Canada is a lot more relaxed about this kind of riding than here in the US.
MTPockets, there are lots of legal trails in Maine and NH that have some huge water holes and mud holes in them. I wouldn't want to ride all day in those conditions but it's fun in limited quantities.
