Default ADC Leak Help

Hello all!! I have 2008 Polaris 700 X2 and looking today it seems as it has developed a leak at the front prop shaft seal going it the ADC front end. Question is, is this a pain in the A$$ to change along with knowing how expensive It is to repair/ replace it this something i need to leave with a pro and take it into the shop.
Thanks in advance.....

They don't make it easy on you. Not so much on being able to do it,but what you have to buy. "Cover assy" comes with new cover, seal,0-ring and bearing.Unless the bearing is worn also, guess the kit might be worth it,BUT bearings can always be matched up at a parts house along with o-ring and seal I suppose and I'm sure some have done it. At the shop we just ordered the kit as most dealers do. Cover alone is $81,the "assy" is $99,so bearing, seal, and o-ring by their calculations are only $18 bucks,if you could only buy them separately..

To repair this you have to remove the spring pin from the prop shaft at the front diff.Knock the rear u-joint/yoke back on the transmission shaft far enough for the front prop shaft yoke to fall off the diff shaft.Easy if you have an air hammer with a flat, dull bit. Move the prop shaft over to the left to be able to remove the cover screws.Always replace the spring pin!

Thank you OPT !!
I have found a post from another site with the grease seal after market number and was just going to replace this seal but now i,m thinking i need to go deeper and replace the baring and such...... im good with this but $100.00 for the Polaris kit is bunk. I am a hands on man and will just do it with after market parts.
