I never knew you could buy new pins for connectors. I learn something new all the time. That's what keeps me coming back.

Replaced the pins in the injector with new wires, that seemed to help a great deal, however it still stalls if I let is sit and idle for 30 minutes or so.... at least it is running again. I am not sure what to do now. If I give it throttle when it misses it will continue to idle if I don't it will stall.

Going back to your original post on replacing multiple fuel pumps and two computers, showing codes 42,47 which point to engine temp sensor and iac sensor which may or may not be bogus codes, have replaced tbap connector harness, etc. Have you rechecked the fuel pump pressure or have you been back in to the dealer to reflash the computer? A lot of times you can't just install a new computer without programming it.

No I have not been back to the dealer, I have put over One hundred miles on the replacement computer and just now I am having these problems. But I will keep it in mind. My dealer is over 120 miles away, so it is not as if I can just run over to them. Thanks

ok back on this problem again, still have no idea why it will stall out. I have checked the fuel pressure and get 41psi then when it shuts down drops to 37psi. I have replaced all the recommended wiring, fuel filter, checked the throttle adjustment and still have a problem. I can't believe that with all of the people that have this issue no one can find a fix that works. Could this be a pump with lack of volume? I have ordered a new pressure regulator but it is not here yet.

Had it running (on the throttle ) at about 2300 rpm and was fine until I lowered it to 2000 rpm then it started popping in the exhaust and stalled out.

Fuel pressure is within tolerance. 39psi +/-2psi. I'd still spend the 1 hr labor charge in most cases to solve what the problem is. Again the ecu could need to be flashed on Digital Wrench to work properly. As much as you've been through on this machine sometimes this is the best way to solve the problem or at least narrow it down.

Other than it wont stay running long enough to load into my truck, and the dealer is 120 miles one way away from me, I have been reading forum after forum on how the dealers are not able to figure out this problem. One dealer told a guy to just sell it for parts! So the dealer has me worried.

I'm of the mentality that I don't believe all that I hear and half of what I've seen, but if a dealer actually told someone this then they don't need to be a dealer.. There are GOOD dealers even if it involves going elsewhere that have the correct software and smart enough mechanics that know how to use it. Again a simple reflashing of the ecu to be able to communicate with the sensors may be all that it needs since you've replaced the harness kit,and all the other things you've done. Only so much you can do at home with a meter and shop manual on efi machines.

Default Fixed

Took it to the dealer, 650 dollars later it is fixed!!

The problems that were found:
Bad throttle switch, shorted out
Fuel pump loosing pressure after running for a few minutes
Broken wire in the harness
Dirty throttle body (200 miles on this don't know how it could be dirty?)
Replace fuel line

Just glad to have it back running again. We will see for how long.
