New cdi oem or aftermarket?.. Just hunting now.. No way to really test it,but it's an oem replacement, still think it's a grounding or wiring issue somewhere in the wire harness. You've replaced blame near every thing that applies to the ignition system...

Replacement cdi. Aftermarket. Two of them! Can't buy a oem new one. Thats why I came to you cause I have put a new everything for ignition in it. Engine has good ground. Coil has good ground. CDi good ground. Stator good ground.

Only weak link in the system either sounds like the aftermarket cdi or possibly a weak flywheel which I mentioned is rare, plus possibly still a grounding problem or a short somewhere in the wiring harness. Not having hands on,the only thing I or anyone else can do is to is post with what were the most common problems that we've encountered.Plus one other thing I forgot.. Have you tried to recoil start it? This was a problem on a lot of 500s (not so much on the two strokes) on the one spark or no spark conditions using the electric starter.Turned out to be the pick up coil distance. Most of these had prior issues with pull ropes knocking the pick up coil bracket back or the pick up coil itself was weak. Here's what happened to one member. Whether it helps or not, don't know.no spark to plug when using electric starter - Page 3 - ATVConnection.com ATV Enthusiast Community

I'm going to try and pull start it before I go out of town tomorrow, hope that works otherwise when I get back on saturday I'm going to pull the wire harness and check for any rubbed wires and ohm test every wire from each end. both cdi boxs were new so lets rul that out for now and I have another flywheel I'll have to try but the magnets on the current one seem to have a good pull from a screw driver, the pick up magnet on each aren't as strong as the inner magnets are which I am guessing is normal.
