2013 Polaris Scrambler 850 mystery nut (13mm) unable to locate where it came off of.
Hey! I'm new to the site and have an issue with my 2013 Scrambler 850.
Was out for a rip yesterday, and I don't drive it easy, when I start hosing it down I noticed a loose nut (13 mm) bouncing around the left side engine compartment before it fell under the side plastics. Since this is where I saw it I'm thinking it must have come from somewhere close to there. (above foot peg)
Fished it out with a magnet and tried to see where it may have come from but without taking all the fenders off, everything I can see or feel is either too big and or still has its nut.
To make things more fun, with the upper side panels removed the only bolts visible in that area that match are the fender supports and they are all in place.
Also... it doesn't match the visible hardware on the bike as ALL the other nuts are a brass looking color and the one I found is more aluminum looking...
Any thoughts?? Weather is great but I don't want to hurt the bike...

May or may not "belong" on your atv as I've had the same thing happen when I've uncrated machines over the years.Found several instances where bolts/nuts were dropped from the assembly line and ended up on the bash plates. First couple machines I looked all over it trying to see if it was missing a bolt or nut,but gave up.Hope this is what's happened in your case.
