This has been asked and tried before. The 2002 Sportsman had either the non ebs or ebs clutch depending upon model. ALL clutches will fit on the crank shaft, but may not interact properly with the rear clutch, plus the 800 and 500 called for different belts which in itself can cause problems on size, length, etc. If you had a simple non ebs on each machine, then there wouldn't be any problems. You can swap any non ebs from different machines and year models with virtually no problems. Not the same on ebs clutches. Either repair or replace the clutch you have and you'll have less problems than trying to mix clutch systems. Had plenty of people come into the shop with problems that tried this.Creeping, shift problems, alignment problems, etc. It's like throwing Ford parts on a Chevrolet.

Maybe just get it rebuilt is better? My dealer sells both Polaris and Arctic Cat .
last winter my friend had a wobble in his front (Primary) clutch on his 2000 Panther 550 snowmobile .
The dealer said it was a end bearing but if he brought the clutch in (Not the whole machine) they would totally rebuild the clutch, springs ,ramps, weights and all for $300 Canadian.

I thought that was a safer bet then a e-bay hope for the best crap shoot.

Here is a parts list http://www.aaenperformance.com/Acces_P1.asp and if the dealer does it you skip the special clutch tool part.
