Could someone please send me the service limit, and standard O.D. For a 2000 Polaris Xplorer 250? Thanks, Dave

Manuals don't give the diameter or length, along with the service limit, etc on the 250,300,400 2 stroke piston pin They do on the 4 strokes. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...z_Eoew&cad=rja But the replacement pin for a Wiseco piston for the 250 shows the pin to be 18mm diameter, length 1.850"(46.99mm) This is usually shorter than the stock cast piston pin.http://www.mfgsupply.com/s-459.html If in doubt replace it especially if you're doing a new top end.No sense in taking short cuts, plus piston kits come with new pins. And if you're doing a new top end, go with a forged Wiseco over the Polaris cast piston.
