thinking of upgrading exhaust... when jetting, is there room to do so, without removing the carb?

You can turn the carb sideways to remove the bowl and change jets. At least on some models you can, cant remember on all of them.

Stock jetting was 150 main,40 pilot. This depends on altitude and temperature. This section from the manual can help on the BSt34 carb.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...U2gGlaHJWSIlbA If you need different jets, most dirt/street bike and atv shops may carry a selection for your Mikuni. Or you can get them here.https://www.jetsrus.com/a_jet_kit_at..._sportsman.htm
