How long have you been riding ATVs for?
#11
I started with EZ-GO Minibike and gocart. Than got an XR75. The first ATV's where two 1985 Suzuki LT125 Quadrunners. Second year of production. One of them still runs but hesitates when hot. Just scrapped the other one about 2 years ago. Great machines. Moved on to an 86' KX125 which looks and runs like the day I bought it. Now I have a 04' DS650x and a 03' DS50. It's 26 years later and I still love the thrill of every ride. Just wish I had more time to do it.

I have been riding sense i was 6 years old. My parents bought me a 2004 honda crf80f dirt bike I rode it until i got to big, Then I got a cr80 dirt bike that ripped! eventually I got to big for that sold it, then I got a KTMsx125, in the mean time my dad bought a yamaha timberwolf 250 for yard work, but i take it mudding 2x4 haha. I raced bike a couple times got rid of the 125 and got a crf250x thats converted over to the R model now.

Been riding since i was 7. Dad won a Kawasaki Ninja 600 in a raffle, had his fun with it for a while, and realizing the dangers of that, with a family to support, he traded it in and bought me a Honda 90 Fourtrax for xmas ( yeah i know, some xmas present). Still have the video of the day i got that thing, never saw a happier 7 year old. Been addicted ever since. I'm 20 now, so been riding 13 years. Currently have a 660 Raptor, also had a Blaster in between.

My earliest memory of riding by myself was on Dad's old Honda 90 atc, back when they were considered big, the workhorse of the farm, good for irrigating and chasing cows and all kinds of good stuff....nowdays my kids look at them like...um...aren't we a little old for something that small?...hehe. Dad bought me a Honda 70 ATC used on the sale we had after my grandad died in 81...somehow I managed to survive the ride!

I got my first taste around 8 years ago on a my uncles '03 scrambler. Only rode it a few times and whenever we went to farms and stuff but never fast or anything. fast forward to this summer, we were living in Mexico and the day we move back to Illinois my dad bought an '03 Polaris 330 2x4 and we spent all night trying to get it to run since the next day all my uncles were going offroading. We couldnt get it to run but still took it and discovered something very important. It wont run if you remove the air filter. Used it all the summer and fall and hope to race it in XC this soon

I started riding when I was around 10 or so. My cousins, brother, and I built a homemade go cart out of stolen road signs, water pipe, and a side shaft 24 hp Kohler motor. It progressed to a YZ250 dirt bike for me and from then on it was "Katey bar the door!!"
I've owned several 3 wheelers (in which I wrecked the last one severely) in the past, built an Odyssey with a Goldwing engine on it (couldn't hold it on the road tho) and have had almost every make of 4 wheeler known to man. LOL!!
I love riding through the woods and forging new trails with friends and family. 20+ years of riding for me.
