Default Introducing myself

Name's Anthony.
From North Carolina.
My son inherited a 2007 Polaris Trailboss 330 a few months ago.
Figured I needed to get established in a forum.
Thanks for taking in newbies.
Any good places to ride around eastern NC?
Have a great day.

Hi asellers from North Carolina: An inheritance can be tough, my sympathies to your family. Maybe your son's old Polaris will bring good memories frequently.

ATV riding is great fun, and similar to motorcycle riding. ATVs deserve respect for safety or they will hurt you. The ATV Connection will have all kinds of information on your particular ATV and a good resource for problem solving. And there will be problems to solve.

Thanks David. We are learning about inheriting problems. We enjoyed a couple days in the snow and then started hearing noises in the Trans. So, I'm learning. I hope to get some use from this forum.

Thanks again.

Welcome to the forums.

Try posting in the "Where to ride" section of the forums. Might get some information there.

Noisy transmissions are usually a sign of "worn out" or "needs rebuilt". Your Polaris is a very popular brand and chances are there are used transmissions available. These forums can help you find a source, and help you with the instructions to tear your ATV down and replace it. Then there will be the "while we're at it" project creep that ends up costing more than anticipated. It's all part of the fun.

You might try posting a "Noisy Transmission" in your year and model Polaris under the Forum: brand discussions, then Polaris. Chances are you will get some responses that will be helpful. There are a ton of Polaris enthusiasts out there.
