2008 Honda Rubicon Code 13
My quad won't shift and the error code that comes up is 13. From what I have read, this is a problem with the throttle position sensor. Where can I buy a new sensor? I looked online and all I seem to get is angle sensors.
Before I buy a new sensor, are there tests I can do to make sure the sensor is the actual problem?
Thanks

According to my book code 13 is the handlebar switch faulty. open the back of the switch and check:-
There should be no resistance between the terminals in each gear position as follows
D1: Orange to blue/black to green
D2: Blue/black to black/green and orange to green.
ESP: Orange to black/green and blue/black to green.

Thanks for the info. I finally got warm enough weather to investigate the shifting issues. It turned out to be vandalism. It appears that someone tried to steal my Rubicon (tie down strap connected to rack and pulled sideways but thiefs likely scared away) and definitely someone vandalized the quad. The D1/D2/ESP wires and the 4x4 wires were both cut in half. The hydraulic brake line for the front brakes was sliced a little but not fully cut through.
