I DarkManX have finaily sold the 250X well im meeting him Saturday to pick her up because he won the ebay auction anyways Im thinking i will most probaly end up with another more powerful USED quad but im going to try to get a new 1 and if so it will be the raptor no ifs ands or buts


Now being that i will most probaly have a used 1 what do you ppl sugguest? im thinking a 350cc or higher sport quad like a Honda: 400ex Yamaha: Banshee,Raptor 660r Kawasaki: KFX400 (wont find cheap) Suzuki: Z400 (wont find cheap) I ride Trails, (hard packed) drags and will soon be doing DUNES! i also ride on paved drag strips but i dont want a MODDED DOWN bike like i will be doing this for fun and want to go in trails with it so no alkay streched shee lol

well i ride with a z400 and raptor all the time and i'd say get the raptor it seems to be a little funner and you'll probably like the extra power anyway.Can't believe you got rid of that beautiful and clean 250x.lol.

 

id go with either the 660, Z4, or the shee, all great and fast quads, although if yor going to ride trails, id go with the Z4 or 660, reverse comes in handy. everytime i go riding with my buddy in the trails and we have to turn around, he pops it in reverse, and is all ready, and im sittin there pushing my zilla around [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

DAMN!!! the guy chickend out and won the item and said he never wanted it so i still have it but it will be up again soon!


i think im going with the 660

 

It depends on waht you will be doing with the quad, if you want to race. Id pick a banshee, but if your in the trails i would pick anything with reverse!. If you want the sporty quad but not utility take the polaris scrambler or even the yamaha wolverine if your going to be in trails and if you want to go fast, But i suggest you take a 400 ex or a raptor 660.

i will have to wait until i actually get a chance to ride my raptor to decide if i like it better than my dads z or not.

but the raptor has more power, and i am a firm believer that too much power is barely enough.

if only i had the money for some mods...

Wow, first off, that 250 is clean as hell man, nice job on that. Looks like a brand new quad. For the New quad situation. Your in the same delema as me, a 660R or a Z. STill cant figure it out. Prolly rappy so i could use that extra 260 cc's. Lots of power. Good Luck..
