if u dont need to jet ur carborator then dont rush into it really, but there are two good brnands made for the z250 and they are FMF and K&N, also theres a mosse ket kit but its more expensive, sometimes u can find dyno jet ones too. but i would say go with the K&N jet kit for ur quad, its cheap, powerful, and a good name brand! also make sure u have a professional install it (local quad dealer) if u dont no wut ur doing!

I have a z250 with a DG slip on and a k&n and i had to rejet to keep it from missing. It was running to lean when it was cold and it would miss real bad. The jet kit i used was the moose/dyno jet, there the same thing. If you are at all mechanically inclined you can jet the carb yourself. It has photo's and very easy to follow directions?
