Bought a 99 warrior lady knew absolutely nothing about it. She said it didnt run she was told there was a carb issue. Brought it home. Checked and it has a good spark then replaced the old fuel, Cleaned the carb and tried to fire it up. Wont start and shoots exhaust or fuel vapors out the carb. The airbox is diconnected at the moment. Any ideas?

If you're sure on the carb, just cleaning one doesn't always help that's been sitting a while, then I'd put the air box on and check valve clearance.

Remove the flywheel plug and turn the flywheel clockwise until the T mark aligns with the pointer on the timing hole check. Then remove the cam sprocket cover and the single mark on the cam sprocket should line up with the mark on the cam cover. Plus not a bad idea to check compression. Shows to be 114psi minimum with 121 psi on average. This free pdf manual should help on this. Section 4 page 64.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...WSeghg&cad=rja Plus if you're sure the carb is clean, air box is installed and timing is correct, the manual can help also if it happens to be an electrical problem.
