ltz400 braking???
hey everyone, i was wondering if any of you have had to adjust your front breaks and/or bleed them? over this past weekend a rock got lodged in between my rotor and ever since i have not had any pressure. the brakes work but are not as strong as before. any info would be appreciated.

I suspect that if the rotor is bent slightly, every time the rotor passes by the caliper it is pushing the piston back into the caliper. Then when you use the brakes you have to pull the lever back farther to make up for the distance the piston has to travel to make for getting pushed back into the caliper.

thanx for the replies,
the rotor is slightly bent but i have not had the chance to do a thorough check of the caliper or mount. i have school thru the week. but when i noticed the damage on Sun. the first thing i did look at was the lines for any leakage and they seemed to be fine and the resevoir was full too. will look into it a little more fri. i was wondering about the rotor bend, if that would cause problems like what you suggested James.
