well i thought i was out of the woods with the top end rebuild, however im still facing the same problem as before the rebuild. the bike will not start cold with or without choke unless i use an eyedropper and pour some gas straight into the cylinder. im not sure if the choke is working the way its supposed to but shouldnt this thing probably start in florida weather without a choke? as far as i can tell the timing is right, but i guess its possible that its off by a tooth or two. probably gonna measure the valves again. *sigh* it never ends lol
Dang! 1,000 pages!
Also, 20,000 hits for the Vault!
Trailrider230s, your restoration page has 5,750 hits alone! Nice work gents! Sorry I can't be around or updating the site more....too much going on with school and work and the like.
Got a new toy about a month ago though. Was lucky enough to do a road side alternator swap in the middle of no where, Wisconsin today...that was a hoot! Anyways, school wraps up in mid April, so hopefully I'll be around more then.

nice wheels man. are you serious that my page has over 5,000 hits? i never would've thought our resto section idea would get that kind of response. i guess maybe thats a sign that i shouldn't sell "The Mistress", well looks like i will have to go crazy finishing my work on her. got more plans for it now. .
alternator swaps are always fun. i was out checking my trails for flooding when my tensioner pulley siezed up and detroyed my belt. plus the A/C pump locked up..
and you'll be glad to know i am now putting 350 warrior riders to shame.
by the way its riding season here but unless a 230s can double as a submarine, i'm screwed.
