Default Good? Bad? ?????

First off I want to say hi. I've been lurking for sometime and decided to join and post.

Now to the possible issue.....
I have an 06' LT-Z250 that I added a DG Pipe to, and now I'm trying to jet it. Looking at the plug it is a reddish color on the porcilin only, The electrode is clean (no color at all, just bare metal). It runs good, and idles smoth, but the color has me confused.

Thanks in advance.

Well the dealer told me it was from running lean and running 89 instead of 87 octane. Changed back to 87 and color is normal but still lean. Looks like I need to get some pilot jets......

Yeah I almost didn't get them out. But thank God my jet kit came with Stainless cap screws. Now that I've messed wih the jetting, I'm not near as worried about playing with it (it just takes some time switching back and forth to get it right).
