Default 2005 King Quad 700 - CVT issue

Hello all,

I have a 2005 KQ 700. I love this thing but whenever I知 riding and slow down, especially when I知 hammering it and braking, I hear this awful clunking sound coming from my CVT area. Is this normal?

Can just be belt slapping about as the driven pulley may not tighten the belt quite as fast as the drive pulley slackens it on the overrun. However, if it worries you, take it apart and see if you can find anything wrong. New belts are supposed to be fitted regularly anyway, but not at Suzuki prices, Gates etc, are much cheaper.
