Default removing lt80 power reduction

hi, i'm new here and wanted some help with my daughter's LT80 quadsport. I bought it for her last june and it has the stock power reduction system still intact. I figured out how to remove the limiter in the carb and the washer in the exhaust header. but I heard a rumor that there is a limiter on the centrifugal clutch assembly that won't allow it to reach top speed. I've seen vids on youtube of people (adults) wheeliein on these little quads if someone could help i would appreciate it.

I have an 1987 lt 80 and my kids have ran the wheels off it for the past 4 years...my little boy races it. a pro rider here in michigan said you can weld the clutch somehow and it would really hook up....I believe it wouldbe hard on th drive belt so Ihave never looked into it...it already does about 30mph...it beats my brothers 2003 polaris 90 he has for his kids...I hope this helps....what is the exact problem your having?

There is no clutch limiter. Clutch maintenence is what will keep it going. Sure we wheelie on em. They wheelie well stock and even better with a modded motor. The last 3 motors I built were for adults. hehe

Trenters:: don't weld the rear hub. It only helps break the gears inside (been there done that).
My machines have no problem hooking up.

ok, i guess it would be more of a spacer.. the machanic at the suzuki shop said it was some kind of top speed limiter that prevented the clutch to open.. or maybe close all the way. i don't exactly remember where it is supposed to be.. i picture a centrifical clutch kinda like a snowmobile? is that the same idea?

also i guess i should mention the bike is an '06. I took the "washer" out of the exhaust header and the spacer out of the carb yesterday... wow what a huge difference! the little pooper is not so slow anymore, I used to beat her on my riding mower... now it will do somewhere in the neighborhood of 25-30.
