Really? I thought quadsports were 250cc and quadrunners were 230? I really don't know a lot about it to tell the truth. My grandpa bought it for me for my birthday and it didn't come with any manuals or anything. If I took a picture of the quad itself do you think someone could tell me more about it?

Manual clutch is a sport. Auto clutch is a runner. 1985-1988 was a 230 quadsport and 1989-1990 was a 250 quadsport. I can tell you have a manual clutch because 1-N-2-3-4-5. 1st is below neutral.

Posting a pic might be a good idea.

The 10th digit of the vin is the year. Use this site to find the year: http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_atv_parts.htm 1985 is F, 86 is G, etc.

Yeah, it's manual clutch (lots of fun when it ran). I've been under the impression this entire time that I had a runner...thanks. I'll post a pic as soon as possible. It'll probably be tomorrow (it's raining ice outside at the moment, so I don't feel like walking outside to go take a picture).
