07 King Quad 700 vs 07 Vinson
Which is the better deal:
Looking at a 2007 King Quad 700 with 1251 miles and a winch and brand-new 60 inch Cycle Country plow (yet to be installed by dealer) out the door for $5,635 vs. a 2007 Vinson 500 automatic with 275 miles and a manual plow for $5,300 out the door. If you've seen my previous posts, you know I don't know poop about this stuff but I need a plow vehicle on a nasty road. I like the miles on the Vinson but the fuel injection and bigger engine on the King Quad would be nice. I've been told that plowing with a manual plow is quicker and winches aren't great for lifting the plow. Please advise---I will probably make my purchase on Friday or Saturday. Thanks (pics will be posted!!!).

I have had a ton of Vinsons and had the King Quads 300 & 700. Go with the Vinson. IMO they wee the best bikes I have ever owned (except for the Outlanders).
I dont know why but the Vinson was a very under rated bike. Also, a real shame not to see those being made by Suzuki. My dream machine at that time was a Vinson 700.
Eventually I had electrical issues with my King Quad and it had a odd sterring issue at higher speeds.
If you want the best machine on the planet right now...go with the Outlander 800. IMO.

Yes, I did buy the Outlander 400XT. It's very nice---seems to be built like a tank---and hardly used (371 miles and 68 hours). It came with a nice plow and winch so I got everything I needed. I might look into a set of chains in the event of an ice storm. I live on top of a hill with a LONG driveway and I will probably leave my Jeep at the bottom during icy weather and then use the quad to run up and down the hill. This is my first ATV and I've been shopping for months. Other than a nice 06 Vinson that got away from me, it was the best deal going by far.
