Default Speedo Glass Replacement

Hi people - has anyone done a speedo glass replacement? Suzuki LT125 1986. I recently purchased another 125 for parts, my running quad doesnt have a trip meter nor a speedo & the one I purchased did. Just trying to get the old girl back to shape & having fun doing so. I still haven"t heard from any members that have fitted an electric starting system to a quad that on;y has pull start, still very keen to do that as soon as I work out the best option. Cheers all.

are you trying to replace the actual speedo unit or just the glass?

Hi thanks for the reply. Only wanting to replace the glass. Was going to drill out a few holes around the frame, enough to lift the glass. Replacing the section with flat ali and small screws each corner to support the glass & make easier to replace if it happens to break again. Cheers again.

Hi lt230sman its a sealed unit so I used a drill press & drilled around the sides of it from the inside. So that is one job less to do, I will replaced the glass & use a rubber sealant. Cheers
