Just picked this up today, what do you guys think?







It definitely needs some cleaning up..

Welcome to the forums.

Well, if it runs good that's a plus.

Think I'd have been a little less worried about those lights and a little more worried about the gas tank.

Any ideas on what to do with the tank? I was thinking if I can't get it/something somehow in the factory location putting the tank in the back somewhere with a pulse fuel pump

I don't remember the seat being that big. Almost looks like it's from a Polaris. Sits way up where a normal tank would be. Getting a smaller seat would give you a little more tank room.

I'm not sure if it will fit since the engine looks pretty tall, but here is the original gas tank for the lt250s with the petcock on ebay:
SUZUKI LT 250S QUAD SPORT COMPLETE FUEL TANK 1989-1990 - eBay (item 160509098653 end time Mar-20-11 13:05:22 PDT)

I hope you mean picked it up on the side of the road, not paid for it............ lol. Don't know what to think of the front mounted gas tank, definately some red neck engineering going on here.

thats the best kind of engineering lol. looks like a Frankenstein bike bu i honestly dont have room to talk either :P
