I have a chance to trade in 2 Vinson's for a good price and get the wife and I a couple KingQuad 500 AXi Power Steering machines. My wife has a small frame and the power steering would be great for her. I would just like to have the irs, fuel injection, locking front diff, and of course the power steering. I would like to get some real world opinions on the new 500 AXi's and the Suzuki power steering in general. We are going to ride them before we purchase, but the dealer has a lot in back with some hills etc for testing. Thanks in advance to all that reply.

 

sounds like a good deal....I love my Vinny, but hate the lack of locking front differential. As I get older, the idea of power steering becomes more appealing as well. The only downside I see is you will lose the powersliding capability of a SRA...not too much of a loss in light of all the other gains

 

Thanks for the reply Texas. Got the new KingQuad 500's today. Yellow was the color we chose, and we are going over on Sat. to pick them up. At my request, the dealer is swapping my Maxis Bighorns from the Vinson's to the 500's. I just couldn't see giving up the nearly new Bighorns for the crappy stock Dunlops that come with the 500's. Maybe going to try them out this weekend on a desert ride as there is wayyyy too much snow in the mountains here in Idaho. A friend of mine has the 2010 500's with the power steering and he told me he wouldn't ever go back to a 4 wheeler without it.
