86 230lt shaft drive rescue

I totally forgot that those had the gas tank down low. just an educated guess but I would say that the 3rd port on ur pump is for vaccum. Not sure what that other tank and hose go to

Ok this link says that small tank is a fuel separater. Maybe it pumps the gas into it, then gravity feed into the carb?

that makes sense and that's what i think to but what hose is that vacum hose??

is it on the carb ? let me get a pic of another hose that i don't know what it is it might be that vacuum

Bingo! That would be a vaccum hose. That should go to the fuel pump. Hook it up. Put gas in the tank and hold ur hand over where the carb goes and crank the engine to see if the pump will pump gas

Then, if that works the outlet hose of the pump should go to the small tank, then the carb

sweet i just got the carb back togther and i know know where all the hoses go.

guess well see what happens

nope still no joy but i think the fuel pump might be the problem is there a way around that



also what goes on the little brass pipe in the below picture?
