ok gas is deffinatly getting in the carbarator i opened the drain valuve and gas started dripping out.

so it's either the start up needle set wrong or the jets just won't work at this altituted.

Did u clean the carb good? Are you trying to start it with the air filter hooked up? It needs some restriction to be able to suck up the gas from ur bowl. Hold ur hand over the front of the carb and try to start it

awesome, do u know how to adjust the carb? the middle screw controls the idle rpms. the one to the left controls the idle mixture, turn it in to decrease fuel and out to increase. without a filter on it, you prob need to turn it out. keeping choke on will help too since ur pullin in so much air

also meant to add that if i were you i would pull the tank off and flush it really well. get rid of the old gas and what i did was wash my tank out with soap and water cause there was so much crap in it then let it dry real good before you add gas back to it. also where the petcock connects to the tank there are little screens on the end of those lines. pull those lines out with the screens on the end and clean them really well too cause they might be clogged and blocking some fuel flow. and if your still not running well run some really thin wire through your carb jets because there my be some residue from the ethanol built up inside them and also restricting fuel flow.

sounds like its running way to rich. pull out the spark plug and let me know what color it is. if its dark black its running rich and possibly fouled. light tan is good and white means its running lean.
