Default Quadzilla rear shock

Can anyone tell me if a rear shock from an lt250r will fit my '87 lt500r? Is there a suitable replacement off another machine? Does anyone hae a used rear shock for sale? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

i used a rear shock of a newer raptor.I had to mod my exhaust stinger and used a different bottom shock bushing but it was a way nicer ride with modern suspension.

mine was off a 07',it had the attached rezzy,i would try for a 01 raptor660 cuz the rezzie has a line attached and you wouldnt have to worry about clearance for the exhaust stinger, just mount it out the way

Thx. My exhaust wraps around in front of the motor and the stinger drops behind the left front tire. So clearance isn't an issue.

It runs alright. I just bought it a couple of weeks ago. It's .040 over. Piped. Rad Valve. It's an aftermarket pipe. Can't find a name on it anywhere. It curves right then up then back left then it curves down and drops into the spark arrestor which is bolted to the front left frame. It's definetly LOUD. Have a new 39mm Keihn but don't have the right reed cage to bolt it on. My boy decided to ride it while I was at work and blew the shock to pieces. Found one in Texas on Craigslist. I'm in Michigan. Figures. Got a good deal though so I can't complain.
