I have a 1985 suzuki quadracer i finally got it running the other night it sat for a couple years then it started the next morning then later that afternoon it wouldnt start for the life of it.its getting spark i dint know if its getting to much gas the spark plug is wet it seems like theres to much gas in piston but im not sure if anyone has any answers that would be helpfull thanks tony.

 

hold the throttle open and try to start it, sounds like it is flooded out

 

Did it have gas in it while stored? Probably needs a good carb cleaning. I wouldn't be surprised if a bit of junk is clogging the pilot so it isn't getting enough gas.

 

i had that problem best thing is buy a carb rebuild kit, new jets and new gaskets and clean it, its like 10$. Also check compression, had mine running for ahwile with just that until recently.
