Default my carb bowl is flooding, can you help me?

Hello, can someone help me with a carb problem? The bowl in the carb seems to be overflowing and flooding out for some reason. I know the first thing I should check is for a sticking needle valve. I actually bought a carb kit and replaced all of the jets including a brand new needle and valve, pilot jet. Still seems to be the same problem. When I first start it up it runs great for about a minute, then it starts to run really rich and starts sputtering. So right after it stalls out I took off the top metal cover to the carb and pulled the diaphram and immediately looked down and I can see fuel flooding up and spilling over into the intake. I dont get what the problem could be. Especially since I just replaced the needle valve. It was having the same problem before. Any ideas? Thanks

Did you check the float height? Also I just had one with a brass float that had a crack and was full of gas and would never let the needle close.

Agree sounds like a float problem, but check out Carb Tuning - Suzuki LT230S Vault for some excellent carb tuning info.
