2001 Suzuki LT80 - Have questions
Hi,
I may be picking up the 2001 Suzuki LT80 tomorrow. It will need a new set of plastics, recoil doesn't work and a carburetor cleaning.
Can anyone give me more information on these little ATV's? My plans are to fix this machine up for my nephew. I'm getting it for $125.00
Thanks,
IronBear

Hello, In reply to your Suzuki Lt80. I heard good reviews about owning one. I personally have a 2004 KFX80 that i bought for my 9 y/o daughter for Christmas. We rode it around and I can tell you I weigh 190lbs and it hauled me around quite well for a little machine. But that right now am in the process of rebuilding due to previous owner neglect. But from shops all around the area say that they are best little machine made. And the parts are easily to be found. They are still making them except not they are replaced by 90cc. As far as plastic goes. You will spend approx $300-$350.00 for a set. And If you are looking for a aftermarket headlight front end that will run you another $100.00 which includes the headlight. hope this helped you. Enjoy Rob

Thanks for the reply. I'm most likely going to pick the ATV up this weekend. I was looking for a KFX like yours, but these machines are pretty pricy of the size.
As for the plastic, I'm going to get a nice set of KFX plastic for it, after I change all the fluids and fix the recoil starter.

As far a plastics go KFX and LT should have the same body style and the only difference is the color. LT yellow and KFX green. Now your recoil starter, mine didn't come with one i have a electric starter. But they do make one for my machine. they run about $100.00 new OEM. If you have a starter, and it doesn't work. I had to buy one for mine and they wanted between $240-$260 I found one online through Ebay for $39.95 FREE SHIPPING from Db Electronics. I haven't had a single prob with mine it better then stock. I hope you the best if you need anything just send me a message Good Luck Robert

Here is the link you can find them. Suzuki LT80 or KFX80 GREEN Fender Set LIMITED TIME ONLY | eBayHope you find this helpful. Let me know what you think. Robert
I'm picking up the ATV for only $100.00. It will need the recoil fix, new set of plastics and an ignition switch. I'm going to fix it for my nephew. I'm going to go with the KFX plastic because it looks nicer.
I will post more pictures of it soon.
