Default 1992 suzuki lt250 quadracer

I was told be its previous owner that it needs the valves re-seated and was wondering how hard it is,how much it cost,if you need new valves, and what it consist of doing to re-seat them. Another thing i would like to know is if there might be something else wrong aswell since the last owner said he re-seated them multiple times and it still has issues and thanx for taking time to red all this.

2 stroke motor doesn't have valves like a 4 stroke. 2 stroke has a reed valve, the cage may not be flush against the engine, or a reed might be broken.

I don't know much about re-seating valves, you will probbaly have to take the head to a machine shop. They will have to do a multi-angle valve job on the head and valves if they are salvageable. If not you will need new valves and probably valve springs, maybe even a new head.

As far as the quad swap, it's all personal preference. Do you like 2 strokes or 4 strokes? 2 strokes are cheap and easy to fix, 4 strokes can be a little more expensive, but the 400ex is pretty reliable machine.
