99 LT80, new petcock, reeds, carb rebuild, 90 jet, new air filter, new clutch rollers and new rear clutch shoe with NO CLUTCH MOD. Quad will start but istantly want to take off. Went through everything, cleaned and re-cleaned. Stumped at this point. Trying to figure out how to get the thing to idle and not want to take off. Anything helps. Thanks.

 

take it starts at high rpm? is carb slide going all the way down?? easy to put this in backwards if not paying attention or cable holding it open also check for air leaks at all intake locations once it is idling

 

I got with LT80 in the PM. Gone once over it again just to make sure in the midst of me re-assembling I did not rush something by accident.

And there is only one way to slide. But I'll check it out and no air leaks that I am aware of. Like I said I'm going over it again today and will let yall know the status by dinner...hopefully :-/

 

Mr. Apple found a air leak at the carb. He's testing now.

 

Thing is good to go. It was a dumb mistake with the throttle cable. But it's fixed now and runs great. Thanks for the help guys!
