Powder coating a arms? Bushings?
Have a 1985 LT230S I'm trying to powder coat the a arms on but I wondering if the inner bushings/bearings(?) have to be removed? I plan on masking off the inner surfaces anyways but Can they handle 400*f for 20 or so minutes? Are they all metal? Is there an easy way to remove they? I tried to pull out the small rings but cant get them out.

They look like low grade ball races from the photo. You will have to remove all paint before coating as the powder has to stick to naked steel, most grit blast them, that won't do your bearings any good. Even if they will stand 400f the grease will leak out and ruin the finish. Powder coating is not that good anyway. In the 90s I worked in a street furniture factory and we used powder coating as the standard finish. However if we were selling to a seaside town, we wouldn't guarantee seats, etc, unless the customer had paid extra for two pack polyurathane paint instead.
