A lot of things can add or take away from the price at this time of year. If you're in the north where it's cold and snowy now, it's going to be a hard sell. Out in the southwest where it's warm most of the time, you'd have a better chance of selling.
But the price does vary depending on the area it's in. Best bet is to see what NADA, KBB, cycle or atv trader and the local classifieds are showing for that quad.
Looking at KBB for my zip code, it was $2150 for one in excellent condition when buying from a dealer. That seems low to me.
