You have restricted the air flow with the one snorkel.
Any reason that you haven't connected the 2nd?

oic ithought you boght a kit that was made for it u way low on air floe.....

Once you get the snorkel sorted, then do a few "plug chops" to dial in which main jet to use. If it runs better with the choke partially closed, probably lean, though. If you need choke at only part throttle, it's not the main jet, but needle height or pilot jet too lean. BTW, I've ordered a wideband O2 sensor for my AC to help dial in carb tuning. With todays gas,it's pretty hard to read spark plugs.
