I have a z400 and it won’t start by the electric start only by bump. And when it’s running it has no power like she use to. When you hit the electric start all it does is tick

 

My preferred method of testing starter circuits is to put a 12v incandescent test lamp between earth and the live post on starter (often easier at the solenoid end of wire). Press start button. If solenoid clicks but lamp doesn't light, faulty solenoid, if lamp does light, faulty starter, if solenoid buzzes on and off, flat battery, seized engine, or wiring fault, probably bad earth or battery connection. Once you get the starter working you can check compression, which may show why you are down on power.
