New pressure bypass installed and oil pressure is at 21# at 3k rpm.
Blew smoke for awhile then it cleared up. I figure it was blowing out what was in the muffler still etc.
Time to work on why the fan wont kick on when warm. No power to the fan when hot but fan works if i hook it up directly.

Probably the radiator sensor. Item 9.2003 Suzuki Vinson 4WD (LT-A500F) RADIATOR | Babbitts Suzuki Partshouse

Went and ordered another sensor and the temp light never kicks on and the fan doesnt kick on. If i jump the 2 wires that connect to the sensor bypassing it the fan kicks on.
Could i have gotten a faulty sensor?
Was debating about pulling it and boiling and and testing for continuity.
I assume it hits a certain temp and closes the circuit causing the fan to kick on.

You can check the sensor resistance cold and hot and see if the ohms drop. If it does, could be the fan motor getting weak. Polaris has an amperage tests on their fans(no more than 7 amps for it to kick on) or fans may need to be replaced. Since it works jumping it,trace the sensor wires to make everything is ok. Usually fans kick on at about 175-180 degrees, but I'd check a service manual for your machine.
