I've got a 2003 KFX 400

Each time I fire up the quad it will not hold an idle after running it. I pull in the clutch & it dies. After running for maybe an hour it will finally hold an idle.

Yesterday I tried to trouble shoot the problem & noticed the fuel filter isn't hold fuel? I tried priming the system & still trickles slowly in & runs out faster that it runs in (on idle) I pulled the fuel line out on the outbound flow side & the fuel poured out) Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem. There is no real throttle response issues within that hour of running.

But, while 1st running as long as I have the quad running & giving it throttle it runs fine. It's just when I pull in the clutch it dies. Then again after about an hour its running perfect.
