simple question here, kind of confused

if I do the carb mod and the throttle mod, do I HAVE to do the box mod also or can I just do the carb and throttle mods?

I did all of the above except the clutch mod. The 50 runs great except for a little lag on the low end of throttle. Im thinking I might need to replace the jets with different ones. Any Ideas?
